As I mentioned in an earlier post, the idea of going to work at a hedge fund changed me a lot, whether it’s for the better or worse, where I started reading books after books about finance, markets, and history and stories around money. People around me recommended Adaptive Market Hypothesis and so I started reading it at the end of the summer, after I finished Flash Boys, by Michael Lewis.
This blog was meant to be an SOS for my internship in case I’m in deep misery. It turns out to be completely different from my pessimistic assumptions and I had a great time sharing and noting down my experiences this summer. I’m grateful that I had this SOS idea that forced me into writing and reflecting. It adds a lot to my growth and who I am as a person. And now since it’s over, I need to move on with life.
It’s now 5:30am, August 13, 2015. I just finished watching the Perseids meteor shower in a little town two hours east of Yellowstone. The town has a pretty name, Lovell and the night sky was just amazing.
